This is a luxurious vintage Kamore 1940s black velvet gown with velvet fabric covered buttons. This dress was originally designed to be a hostess gown, back when women wore hostess gowns! These are now worn as evening dresses but you can always join our committee to bring back hostess gowns! 

This lovely dress is gathered in the front and closes with a zipper from the waist down and hooks and eyes. We love the beaded embellishment on the bodice! We estimate this to fit a modern day US size XS/S but please use the measurements for the most accurate sizing.
